Onni 606 Project Secures Permit for Excavation Conveyor Systems

The Onni 606 development in Downtown Bellevue has received an 'Issued' status for its excavation-pit conveyor system permit, indicating progress toward site preparation.

The independent tracker onni606.com has observed a significant update in the permit record for the Onni 606 development at 606 106th Ave NE in Downtown Bellevue. Permit 26-117887-BG, pertaining to the excavation-pit conveyor systems, has changed from 'Pending' to 'Issued' status.

This permit authorizes the installation of two 600A 480V 3P conveyor belt systems for NW Construction. The scope includes feeder and connection work by Prime Electric, as detailed in their Temporary Power Plan, and motor connection, testing, and rotation by Ault Electric.

The issuance of this permit suggests that the project is advancing towards the deep excavation phase. While the prior demolition of existing structures and surface grading has been completed, the deep five-level garage excavation and perimeter shoring are not yet authorized. The presence of an 'Issued' permit for excavation-pit conveyor systems indicates preparation for the movement of excavated material.

The Onni 606 project is planned to include three towers, each approximately 600 feet tall, on a shared podium. The development is slated to feature 1,059 residences, 257 hotel rooms, 871,818 square feet of office space, and 1,712 parking stalls. Superstructure building permits for the podium (25-105052-BB), Tower 1 (25-105181-BB), Tower 2 (25-105109-BB), and Tower 3 (25-105295-BB) remain in 'Pending' status, meaning they are still under review by the city.
