At roughly 600 feet, each of Onni 606's three towers reaches the maximum height allowed in Downtown Bellevue — making it a rare cluster of three buildings at the city's ceiling.
Bellevue raised the Downtown O-1 ceiling from 450 to 600 feet in 2017. Two buildings now reach it: 555 Tower, completed in 2023, and Bellevue 600 Phase 1, completed after topping out in 2024. Onni 606 would add three more at the same height, but its tower permits remain pending. As of August 24, 2026, the canonical project phase is early excavation and soil characterization — shoring pending.

Bellevue's 2017 Downtown Livability code raised the Downtown O-1 maximum from 450 ft to 600 ft; the limit varies by zoning district rather than applying uniformly downtown.

Amazon's 555 Tower (“Sonic”) was the first completed building to reach 600 ft, in 2023; Bellevue 600 Phase 1 became the second after topping out in 2024 and completing in 2025.

Bellevue 600 Phase 2 is not part of the completed 43-story tower. Amazon opened The Meadow on that future phase's site in April 2026 as interim public open space.

Onni 606 puts three approved roughly 600-ft towers on one four-acre block. As of August 24, 2026, the three tower building permits remain pending and no tower is rising.

Below the 600-ft tier, Bellevue's next-tallest are the ~450-ft Lincoln Square and Bellevue Towers high-rises of the 2000s — the ceiling the city lived under before 2017.
