A new Bellevue electrical filing adds a concrete piece of excavation logistics to the Onni 606 record. Permit 26-117887-BG, applied August 4, covers two 600-amp, 480-volt, three-phase conveyor-belt systems described by the city as pit conveyors for NW Construction. The application remains Pending.
The permit divides the electrical work between two firms. Its description says Prime Electric will provide the pit-conveyor feeders and connections under the project's temporary-power plan, while Ault Electric will connect the motors with premade plug-in cables, test them and verify their rotation. Bellevue's people record lists Ault Electric Services as the permit contractor. The filing does not publish the conveyor length, belt capacity, layout or installation date.
Bellevue completed the first electrical review August 11 with the status "Rev Requested." The reviewer asked for an item-by-item resubmittal and listing information for the control panels in a Systems Interface Inc. submittal. If the panels are not listed by a Nationally Recognized Testing Laboratory, the note requires a field evaluation after installation under the 2023 Washington Cities Electrical Code. In other words, the new permit identifies planned equipment, but it has not yet cleared electrical review or been issued.
The word "pit" and the conveyor scope make the filing evidence of preparation for below-grade material handling. They do not establish how excavated material will be loaded, where it will go, how quickly it will move or when the deep dig will begin. The permit also does not replace the separate authority required for perimeter shoring or construction of the underground garage.
A related mobilization record has advanced. Heavy-equipment fuel permit 26-116729-FR, filed July 13, now reads Ready to Issue after its July 29 fire approval. Bellevue uses that status for a construction permit that has been approved but has not yet been issued; the fuel cube therefore should not be described as an issued or operating installation. Its public file names Northwest Construction Inc. as contractor, and the new conveyor filing says its systems are for NW Construction.
Those two records document Northwest Construction's role in the conveyor and fuel scopes, not an award of the project's still-pending mass-excavation and shoring permit. The issued early-grading permit separately names Gary Merlino Construction as contractor, while the public people record for the shoring permit still lists no contractor. Keeping those scopes separate avoids turning a logistics filing into an unsupported general-contract or shoring claim.
The larger gates remain unchanged through August 12: mass-excavation and shoring permit 21-134212-BV, below-grade structure permit 24-104362-BB, utility-extension permit 24-104273-UE and the 2026 land-use reconfiguration all remain Pending. The new conveyor filing is meaningful mobilization evidence, but the accurate phase remains early excavation and soil characterization with full shoring pending.
